There's just so much Halloween related goodness going on right now that I had to squeeze it all into one article to make it all nice and neat and tidy and...

Anyhoo, first off, here's a big rumour from Fangoria! Seems that they've gotten some sort of scoop saying that Rob Zombie may, in fact, be directing the next Halloween film. While this is probably just another one of the many rumours that have popped up (Dante Tomaselli was also said to be attached recently), Fango has dedicated a nice chunk o' page to this, which you can see by clicking here!

The other bit of news is from Anchor Bay, who have announced that on July 25th they will be releasing a two disc set featuring the long-awaited documentary, HALLOWEEN: 25 YEARS OF TERROR. The set will also feature over three hours of bonus goodies, including loads of never before seen material.

Anchor Bay will ALSO milk the proverbial Halloween cow with two new DIVIMAX "Hi-Def" transfers of Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge Of Michael Myers on the same day!

And speaking of both Anchor Bay and Dante Tomaselli, while whether or not he will be involved with Halloween 9 may be up in the air, the release of his much anticipated film, SATAN'S PLAYGROUND, is not! Anchor Bay will be releasing the film on DVD on August 22nd!
