Correction/Updated 7/18: Well, turns out Ving has nothing to worry about, as it is not Mira Sorvino, but Mena Suvari who will be joining him in the upcoming "DAY OF THE DEAD". Sigh...one of them really should change names.

The folks over at Bloody-Disgusting have posted a rumour (based on the word of a "very reliable regular scooper") that Ving Rhames will be returning to the land of the DEAD in the upcoming DAY OF THE DEAD. This casting move is meant to tie this film to Zack Snyder's DAWN remake, although how they're going to explain how he got away from that quagmire during the end credits of that film is anyone's guess!!

The same scooper also says that the one and only Mira "Hey, I won an Oscar" Sorvino, who hasn't been in a decent film since MIMIC, will be joining Rhames as this entries blonde tough chick du-jour.

This is ALL at the rumour stage right now, but B-D is usually pretty much dead-on about this stuff, so I'd wager on it.
