Tinto Brass, legendary master of the erotic, displays his affection and affectation with the posterior of very well endowed woman with Cosi fan tutte, a stylish and sexy romp through the life of a married couple and the wife's need for extracurricular pleasure from anonymous lovers.

Diana (Koll) loves Paolo (Lanza), but after a party where she meets a frenchmen who wants to give her a little poke in the pantry, she discovers she is wanting more out of life. Her cousin Nadia tells her she should engage in more casual sex with willing and anonymous partners and that Paolo should understand this, although for Paolo, there is nothing more that he wants than Diana and her faithfullness. After Diana inherits a loft in Venice she begins to explore her fantasies and loses Paolo in the process, discovering that while she loves her newfound sexual freedom it means nothing without her husband.

Okay, so basically All Ladies Do It (which refers to cheating) is a feminist twist on the concept of male infidelity, and is an often humorous and highly entertaining one at that. While I wouldn't consider this film anything more than very stylish softcore erotica, it is several notches above most other offerings from this genre and one can credit Tinto Brass and his very lush visual style for that. Tinto is the Mario Bava of Italian Erotic cinema, with a great eye for scenery and beautiful women. I defy the male viewers NOT to fall instantly in love with Claudia Koll's Diana, who simply lights up the screen with her luminous smile and classic beauty.

This is a softcore film in the sense that we don't get the usual desensitizing extreme close-ups (or Gyna-Cam as I like to call it), but there is a tremendous amount of sex, nudity, and some of it is fairly graphic (and real!). Believe me, this is not late night cable stuff, and would recieve an X rating, albeit a mild one.

All Ladies Do It is one for the couples out there. It's never boring, always erotic, and very fun to watch without being grotesquely hardcore or misogynist (as a matter of fact, this one might offend some of the more "traditional" male types with it's role-reversal of the woman as the happy infidel!)

The DVD from Cult-Epics features a beautiful transfer and sound track and, while there aren't any bonus materials, not many films in this genre offer those, so it doesn't detract from the otherwise great package.

All Ladies Do It is smart, sexy, and sophisticated stuff.
