There are well known horror films and there are films that are inarguably among the most influential films to ever butcher the onscreen sensibility of the horror genre. One such film is John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN, the story of a mental patient named Michael Myers whose antics would be often copied, seldom equaled in the long history of horror films involving mute, mental patients in white masks who murder promiscuous teenagers with everyday lawn and garden implements. FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH owes a huge debt to HALLOWEEN as do countless other teenage slasher films of the past four decades and it is only now that someone else has sent me a porno parody of it, do I myself finally get a rare chance to say how much I enjoyed the original (1978) film with its methodical monster development, minimalistic blood and its unmistakable Hitchcockian pacing.  Anyway, here is a porno parody of it.  Let us see if a true horror classic and damned near perfect horror film about a stab happy madman can endure a retelling where the onscreen emphasis is on a whole different sort of “penetrations” and their resulting screams.

First let me say that while the dramatic moments are not a shot for shot remake of the original Halloween it comes pretty darn close.  Most of the dialogue, all of the (non-kid) characters and every kill scene is reproduced in this adult version, often times with even more visible onscreen blood in the murder scenes which the kids, (er young adults) will simply love. This amount of blood is something rare for a porno, where only one bodily fluid tends to flow with reckless abandon by the bucket load.  Surprisingly this story works well as porno parody because like most of the really good ones, there was a sexual element in the original tale that just bore “fleshing out”, so to speak.  Here it boils down to the fact that as usual Michael Myers really doesn’t like seeing people fucking which is really well steeped in the original character. Neither did Jason Voorhees of course, but that’s because he drowned as a boy while the counselors were too busy fooling around to save him. The fact Michael Myers had no good reason for hating all human forms of physical contact whatsoever unless it was a form of impaling, stabbing or skewering was always the most frightful facet to his character. As can be expected there are all kinds of actual sex scenes and the moments where the camera pulls away from the actual intercourse action to show none other than Michael (motherfucking) Myers in the window watching them is a powerful psychological moment set to film that will really make your synapses fire at once, especially if you have seen a lifetime of horror and porn movies as I have. Seriously, I had more fun with this than most of the original Halloween sequels.  One nice addendum to this films content that wasn’t in the original film (besides the obvious) was its completely bizarre, stupid sex infused sensibility at certain moments which does serve to lighten to mood.  For example there is the original scene where “virgin” Laurie Strode meets Michael Myers (disguised as a spectacled bed sheet ghost) and because she mistakes him for one of her girlfriend’s boyfriends she spontaneously decides to give him a “Boo job”. This impossible moment of impromptu intimacy helps keep this from being taken too seriously (as if a bunch of hot twenty something porn stars playing high school students can be seen any other way now in the films I review). I really tried not to like this film as much as I did because the original HALLOWEEN is one of the few classic horror films I actually think was intricately put together, but this parody was filmed by someone who truly revered the original John Carpenter film as much as I did and quality drips from every frame (among a few other things).

In summation, let it be said that HALLOWEEN THE XXX PORN PARODY with its faithful adaption and scorching sex action is a rare example in this world of TRICK as well as TREAT and if you are reading Horrorview I am guessing its target is audience is you, so pick it up.
